OUR
environmental commitments
Cartwright Jenson Group are proud to be part of an industry that is taking big steps to reduce its impact on the environment. Our team is committed to supporting a number of environmental causes, including:
1% FOR THE PLANET
As a company we are proud to support 1% For the Planet. We have joined thousands of other businesses by pledging a minimum of 1% of all our sales to environmental organisations around the world. Over $530m has been given by businesses worldwide, which has been distributed to over 6500 green projects and causes.
JUST ONE TREE
Trees are the lungs of our planet. Just One Tree allows individuals and businesses to help plant trees and repopulate the world's forests. They plant one tree for every £1 donated, making it an affordable yet effective environmental project. So far they have planted over 3.3 million trees around the world, and have also helped restore the ocean's 'kelp forests'.
OUR
code of conduct
Cask whisky is considered a physical asset (much like buying a classic car or fine art) and therefore not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the United Kingdom.
There are however, various legal and voluntary bodies and schemes that Cartwright Jenson Group are affiliated with, ensuring that we are acting in an appropriate manner. They help to ensure professionalism in the industry, and allow you to find responsible companies offering a high level of service. We are committed to ensuring clients understand the risks of whisky acquisition, as well as the potential returns.
WHISKY IS
an age-dependant acquisition
As with purchasing alcohol for personal enjoyment, alcohol-based products purchased from Cartwright Jenson Group comply with UK laws. You must be 18 years or older to make such purchases: we are unable to support acquisitions or sales for anyone under this age.
